On April 26, 2024, Eric Marcks moderated a panel on “Choosing your Camp in an Increasingly Multipolar World” at the Annual Conference of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association in Tokyo. The panel explored how FDI and export / import regulations targeting certain jurisdictions are making it harder for companies to satisfy the requirements of competing economic and political powers in their M&A and other business transactions.
